Last minute Halloween costume

Happy Halloween guys. As we approach closer to All Hallows Eve, I expect some of you have left their costumes to the last minute. Well, fear not here is my favourite quick and easy costume ideas that will keep you on trend this year.

Tinkerbell

Personally, one of my favourite costumes I’ve done and surprisingly was last minute. Tinkerbell is a perfect option for all the blondes out there all you need is a green dress, a pair of wings and a few bobby pins.

Dress

My dress here is from Amazon however all you really need is a green dress which you can find anywhere. A good alternative would also be a corset, which is very on-trend for most of the Halloween costumes I’ve seen this year. You can get quick delivery from Amazon or PLT.

Wings

Look for wings that can be easily worn over the shoulders, either as a separate piece or attached to the dress.

Accessories

Shoes:

Opt for green or silver ballet flats or sandals. If you want to add some height, choose heels that are comfortable and match the colour scheme. I chose to style this costume with a cute kitten heel which I like to think Tinkerbelle would agree with!

Hair

All you need is some bobby pins. I think this was the easiest hair I’ve ever done for a costume. All you need to do is put it in a bun! If you don’t have blonde hair, there are several options for blonde wigs or even blonde hair spray, or if not just go natural! Tinkerbelle is most recognisable by her dress not her hair.

Makeup

Eyes: Go for a fresh, dewy look with green or gold eyeshadow, subtle eyeliner, and plenty of mascara.
Lips: Choose a soft pink or coral lipstick for a natural fairy-like appearance.

Props

Magic Wand: Consider carrying a sparkly wand as a prop to emphasize the fairy aspect of your costume. You can DIY one using a stick and decorative materials.

Putting It All Together
