London Lookbook
Got a city break coming up? Here is a quick little lookbook of all my outfits from London this weekend.
1. First day
Ok so let’s break it down. The first day always involves a lot of travelling so the key is to be comfy but still stylish. Linen trousers are a perfect choice for a first-day outfit; they keep the vibes chill and yet can still be dressed up with a more dramatic top and extra accessories. I choose to keep it casual pairing my navy trousers with a white tank from Zara, which if you look closely has a navy binding that ties in perfectly to both the hat and trousers carrying the same colour scheme throughout. The hat, again, is white with a navy New York Era logo marrying the colours and polishing off the finished look. As for shoes, I opted for a pair of silver and navy New Balance 530s, the perfect casual shoe. My bag as always is from Coach.
2. Evening look
Whatever your plans are for the city, you always need to look extra stylish in the evening. Throughout the summer months, I favour a maxi skirt with a cute top. Looking extra stylish without the extra effort. Just to add some extra depth to your outfit, try to find a top that isn’t plain and will compliment your main piece without looking boring or stealing the show. In this case, I chose a top that had that extra texture from the knot of the side and the neckline choice slanting instead of just sitting on the shoulders, With a neckline like this, hairstyle is very important too. With a half up half down hair style, I can keep the length and curled style whilst also letting my neckline and shoulders still shine through. Using the sandwich method as always.
3. Last day

A quick little weekend away in the city means having to travel back and we all know carrying that luggage cramps our style. This is why we plan accordingly before going so you can pack light and have focused outfits for each day. This day was my last and it was very hectic indeed so unfortunately I don’t have a full pic, but the main piece is pictured above. I chose this oversized dad shirt which I got from Zara. It was paired with denim shorts and lilac dunks. A very simple but effective outfit for a day’s travelling in the British summer heat. This could’ve been elvated with a simple cap and I will be recreating it with one.
