20 in Paris
During winter, Paris is adorned with holiday decorations, twinkling lights, and festive markets. The Champs-Élysées are beautifully illuminated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Plus, best of all, its not peak tourist season so all the major tourist areas are not as busy as they would be in 6 months’ time.
As a winter baby, it’s very challenging to get excited about all the birthday plans and dinner in the cold, wet, rainy and snowy weather. It also makes it very hard to dress for the occasion. Here’s what I wore and did for my 20th birthday trip in Pairs.
1. Wrap up warm

The star of the outfit is an oversized, cream-coloured coat. Its soft, plush texture exudes warmth and comfort, making it an ideal choice for braving the winter chill. The coat’s relaxed silhouette and neutral tone add an effortlessly chic vibe, perfectly aligning with Parisian style that values both elegance and practicality.
Adding an extra layer for more dimension and for warmth is a dark scarf. The scarf not only serves as a cosy accessory against the cold but also introduces a touch of personality and flair to the ensemble. Draped casually around the neck, it enhances the outfit’s overall aesthetic without overpowering it.
Styling Tips:
- Layer Up: For a similar look, opt for a high-quality, oversized coat in a neutral color. It’s versatile and can be paired with various outfits throughout the winter season.
- Accessorize Wisely: A patterned scarf can elevate a simple coat, adding depth and interest. Choose patterns and colors that complement your overall look.
- Keep It Simple: Minimalist accessories and a clean hairstyle allow the key pieces of your outfit to shine. Less is often more when it comes to achieving Parisian elegance.
Whether you’re strolling down the Champs-Élysées or sipping coffee at a quaint café, this outfit ensures you’ll do so in style, embodying the effortless grace and timeless appeal of Parisian fashion.
2. Lights and Lemons….?

Any girl wants to start their birthday in front of the Eiffel Tower, and that’s what I did. Even though the weather wasn’t to our liking, we still braved it on the metro all the way to toward to get our perfect Pinterest picture.
The centrepiece of the outfit is a gorgeous, draped white dress. The fabric flows beautifully, creating a soft and ethereal look that is both sophisticated and graceful. The dress features a cowl neckline, adding a touch of classic elegance. Long, off-the-shoulder sleeves provide an element of drama and sophistication. They drape effortlessly, complementing the fluid lines of the dress and adding to the overall romantic aesthetic. The slight sheen of the fabric catches the light perfectly, ensuring that the wearer glows against the night sky.
Soft, loose waves cascade over the shoulders, adding to the romantic and effortless charm of the ensemble. The hairstyle is simple yet sophisticated, allowing the focus to remain on the dress and the overall look.

And for the lemons portion, just watch this video:
